Maize gluten

Maize gluten is by-product during maize starch processing. It is shiny goled-orange flour with granular formulation who has 68 % of crude protein and 90 % of dry matter. It has high level of natural pigments. Limiting amino acid is lysine.It contain starch residues (16 % per kg of dry matter). Maize gluten crude protein is mainly rumen nondegradable in ruminants. It has high level of by-pass methionine. It is source of natural piments who are important for yolk colour in poultry.

Maize gluten can be used in cattle, milking cow and sheep feeding ration in aomunt of 10 %, in fattening pigs (2.5 - 5 %), in saw and hen in amount of 7.5 % and for broilers 5 %.
