Sugar beet pulp

Sugar beet pulp are obtained from shredded sugar beet. This matter are macerating in diffusers. Acquired leach are pressed, whereby is removing sweet juice. In original condition has from whitish to greyish color, elastic and stiff structure. Structure mustn't be pulpy and greasy. It contain low level of sugar (upto 5 % per 1 kg of dry matter), who is necessary for successful ensilaging. Their nitrogen-free extract as well as fibre low in lignin have high digestibility. For feed mixture processing are sugar beet pulp dried in hot-air dryieres. Dried sugar beet pulps are often granulated. Ensilaged sugar beet pulps are used in feeding of cattle, dried ones in pigs, mainly breeding ones.
