Wheat is the most often grown cereal in condition of Czech republic. It supplies much of crude protein and energy in feed mixtures. Compared with others cereals has the highest crude protein content (on average 12.5 %). Mixture with barley is suitable for pigs and mixture with maize is optimal for poultry. Wheat is suitable for all animals species and categories even in quite high levels in feed ratio. There is possibility to feed it as the only cereal.
